The density of the era we live in is overwhelmingly tight. Young time is too linear; some things vanish suddenly, while others linger longer than necessary. Anxiety arises not from events but from accumulated moments. Emotions pass unexplained. Amidst the density of overflowing information and relationships, the solitary individual stands in stark contrast, losing their place. To look into things that pass helplessly, emptying is necessary. [Laplace] is a collection of songs about that emptying and what remains.

In Laplace's world, where everything but us is emptied, time loses its direction, and distance changes irregularly. The daily coordinates we held onto—when, where, with whom—vanish in an instant, leaving only fragments of emotions and perceptions vibrating finely within. Sometimes they approach like a light of salvation, making us doubt our reason, or transform into an enlarged ego, trembling with anger and loneliness. The album captures a gaze that tries to face these tremors as they are, rather than explaining them.

Sometimes, trying to gain perspective can offer a more honest escape than forced optimism.
