"전통 서예와 디지털 미디어 아트의 만남"
두 서예 작가의 작품을 컴퓨터 시각 예술과 결합한 미디어 아트 프로젝트다. 붓의 이동, 먹의 농담과 글자의 구성을 시간 기반 이미지로 옮기고, 영상 편집과 모션그래픽, 프로젝션을 통해 원작과 전시 공간을 연결했다.
디지털 문화에 익숙한 관람객이 서예를 다른 감각으로 만나는 계기를 만들고자 했다. 새로운 매체가 원작을 대신할 수는 없지만, 전자매체를 활용한 전시가 서예 작품에 접근하는 또 하나의 경로가 될 수 있다고 보았다.

"The Convergence of Traditional Calligraphy and Digital Media Art"
This project combines works by two calligraphy artists with computer-based visual art. The movement of the brush, tonal variation of ink, and character composition were translated into time-based images through editing, motion graphics, and projection.
We aimed to give audiences familiar with digital culture another way to encounter calligraphy. New media cannot replace the original works, but it can provide an additional route into their movement, texture, and composition.
